CCS: Compaq SC 64-node (Falcon)

New Compaq system being delivered

Falcon is a 64-node Compaq AlphaServer SC operated by the Center for Computational Sciences at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Falcon was acquired as part of an early-evaluation project.

Each node of Falcon has four 667 MHz Alpha EV67 processors and 2GB of memory.
