March 31, 2000

From the truck, to the loading dock, to the computer room

truckload of Compaq boxes I'm not lifting that! Get Mikey Mikey has a liftjack Anyone here named T. Zacharia?
sealed for your protection Okay, PUSH getting on and off the elevator is tricky tell me again why we can't use a liftjack
Gee, wonder why Buddy looks so happy Thomas Zacharia inspects the new system Buddy, still basking

Setting it up to run

Dibbs on the bubble wrap! I still say it looked better the first place we put it How many of these things do they have? it says THIS END UP the operator console
Max wanted to be sure the cabinets were perfectly parallel a little more to the right hey, it fits! just one minor adjustment
are you SURE it rolled under the cabinet? Tom James contemplates the meaning of life one down, sixteen more to go just roll 'em in and plug 'em up does anybody know what DAY it is?
how about if you hold your breath and turn sideways that's the exact spot how long do I have to hold this up could we get a bigger tape measure? Those Compaq engineers really get attached to their work
I don't have TIME to cut down on sugar I STILL don't have time to cut down on sugar aah, a perfect fit
and that's it for this row two more rows and we'll be done with THIS part Ok, NOW I see it and that's another row done
those Compaq guys just won't stand still wait! let me get my hand out maybe I DO need to turn sideways You're getting warmer
I still say we could fit 3 more cabinets in gee it's much less crowded at this end only 37 more cables to go
but I don't see any red wire very neatly done hey guys, how about spagetti for lunch? now just twist these two wires together...
Marv Anderson and Mark Dobbs: We love it when a plan comes together TA-DAA!
all quiet on the (south)western front another look at the back row third time charmed
about half of the Compaq system the same half and one more time bet you thought we were done
